The Measure section in Daily.ai provides insights into your newsletter’s performance, audience engagement, and subscriber behavior. It’s divided into three sections: Overview, Newsletter Edition, and Subscribers.
Overview
The Overview section displays key metrics for your newsletter performance over time, along with list health insights.
- Latest Edition Performance: Metrics from the most recent newsletter edition, including:
- Open Rate: The percentage of subscribers who opened the newsletter.
- Click Rate: The percentage of subscribers who clicked on links.
- Unique Clicks and Conversion Clicks: Specific metrics showing engagement with unique articles and conversion cards.
- Aggregate Performance Over Time: Track overall trends in open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and unsubscribe rates.
- List Health: Shows subscriber segments by activity level:
- Active: Subscribers who have engaged with emails recently.
- Activating: Subscribers who have shown limited engagement.
- Atrophied: Subscribers with little or no engagement; these are eventually removed from active sends to maintain list health.
- Engagement Over Time: View engagement trends over time, with options to adjust the time range (day, week, quarter, year).
- List Growth: Tracks growth rates, including new subscriber counts, from various sources such as CRM integrations and direct subscriptions.
- Subject Line and Content Performance:
- Subject Line Performance: Displays top-performing subject lines based on open rates.
- Content Performance: Shows the most-clicked content across all newsletters, relative to the top-performing piece of content.
Newsletter Edition
The Newsletter Edition section provides detailed metrics for each individual newsletter edition.
- Individual Edition Performance: Metrics specific to the selected edition, such as:
- Open Rate: The percentage of emails opened for this edition.
- Click Through Rate: Includes overall click rate, article clicks, and conversion card clicks.
- Unsubscribe and Spam Rates: The rate of unsubscribes and spam complaints from this edition.
- Date Selector: Located at the top right, this selector lets you choose a specific date to view performance metrics for that edition. Highlighted dates indicate send days.
- Analytics for Individual Articles: Displays the click-through rate for each article or conversion card within the selected newsletter, helping you see which content resonates most with your audience.
Subscribers
The Subscribers section provides tools to analyze and manage individual subscriber engagement.
- Preset Queries: Use the AI Data Retrieverfor quick queries based on common subscriber actions:
- Prospects: Subscribers who clicked on conversion cards.
- Warm Leads: Subscribers who opened emails in the last month.
- Engagement: Subscribers who clicked on articles in the past week.
- Unsubscribes: List of subscribers who unsubscribed in the last month.
- Double Check: Subscribers flagged for follow-up, such as those who may have missed an email.
- Subscriber List: View individual subscriber details, including their last activity date, engagement history, and recent actions. You can also export this list as a CSV for further analysis or CRM integration.
